I am using an Acer Android tablet (A1-840) that uses 4.4.4. I have installed Firefox from the Play Store. My issue is that when I am on Firefox and try to download and install an add on, it won't. It has a green download button so I know it is compatible. However when I hit the button, it says downloading but there is no option to install? Although it says downloading, it has not.

I don't know if it is my tablet OS or settings, etc... I am trying to install Google shortcuts and Cloud printer add ons.

Also, I can't print from Firefox. It keeps putting my documents into the printer queue? I have Google Cloud Print set up correctly. When I try to print from Firefox it document printed successfully but obviously nothing printed?

If anyone may have experienced the same issue or knows why this is happening, please kindly respond.

Printing from Firefox for Android is usually done through an addon or another app on the device.

As for trying to download an add on, can you please provide an example url where this is happening?

If you are trying to install Extensions from addons.mozilla.org there are two Firefox sections. One for desktop and other for Android.

https://addons.mozilla.org/android/ https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/

The desktop Firefox extensions will not work unless author has provided support for Android Firefox also.
