NOT with an addon. How do I PREset/ default @ 90% zoom. Opera has such a setting and it's simple to set.
small screen, always having to set the usual 100% down to 90%. need it preset to 90%, not from an addon. other browsers do simply allow to preset a desired zoom level, at any percentage.

You can use an extension to set a default font size and page zoom on web pages.
- Default FullZoom Level: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/default-fullzoom-level/
- NoSquint: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/nosquint/
In Opera, setting 90% or 67% or whatever, is a SETTING not an addon.
Further, I realize all 3 of you guys mean well- but you are too busy, so did not READ my issue.
NOT want default 100% nor max. I have a small screen size laptop. I want a default %, that I set- and that I can CHANGE to any% I want to..as the NEW "default".
so that anytime I am in Firefox, that default % zoom is ALWAYS used on ALL pages I view, forever unless I decide to set a new default... Now, it is always at 100% and I have to manually change it every page all day long. nuts.
Opera allows a preset default by me- 67% 90% whatever. click. no adds no extension..
Firefox won't allow that.
So to be clear, I want to be able, to set my own DEFAULT %, at like 90% or 67%, to work on my screen so I won't have to reset the % each time I view a new site.
Separte issue- my yahoo email. I am unable to put a area right of my address bar, where I can click to take me to the sign in page for yahoo email. When I dragged the email link to right end of my address bar, it just gave me outlook and the email address for the site I use on my startup page/ not what I wanted.
I want a one click spot right end of add. bar, so I can click on that and get direct to the ymail.com sign in page.
The above mentioned extensions allow to set a default global zoom factor that you can set via the Options/Preferences button of the extension in "Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions".
If you do not mind that the user interface also changes then you can adjust the layout.css.devPixelsPerPx pref to 0.90
You can set the layout.css.devPixelsPerPx pref on the about:config page to 1.0 You can adjust layout.css.devPixelsPerPx starting from 1.0 in 0.1 or 0.05 steps (1.1 or 0.9) to make icons show correctly.
You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I'll be careful" to continue.
