Where can I get an APK file to install Firefox Beta? I don't use Google Play.
I'd like to test Firefox Beta but I can't seem to find a direct link to download the APK installer. It seems to be only available from Google Play but I prefer not to use proprietary software on my devices. My test devices are Galaxy SIII and Kobo Arc if that matters.
Thanks in advance for any information about this.

Note that the Release and Beta versions installed this way do not get software updates like you do on desktop Firefox or on Android if installed from Google Play.
Note that the Beta test channel gets six to twelve Beta builds for a version with nine being the average in last while.
Thank you for the detailed replies. I was under the impression updates would be handled like Aurora APKs, it's useful to know they won't.
I have submitted Firefox Beta to F-Droid hoping it can be managed automatically via its Android app.
If a Firefox Beta developer can help in this process more details more details can be found here.

For reading as it links to some other bugs also. Bug 800397 - Conflicting configurations for the updater on Release/Beta are confusing
As you can see there have been five Beta builds of 34.0 so far with a few versions skipped. The nine I mentioned on average was more for desktop Firefox. http://download.cdn.mozilla.net/pub/mozilla.org/mobile/releases/
