You can check for recently installed suspicious or unknown extensions.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

Are you talking about how to set up the icons on the toolbars?
Type about:customizing<Enter> in the address bar. In the new window, look for the icon. When you find it, hold down the left button on it, and move it to where you want it to be. You can move any of the icons you want from here, but some icons are locked in place.
Do you mean bookmarks or is this about the location/address bar?
Use these steps to remove saved (form) data from a drop-down list:
- click the (empty) input field on the web page to open the drop-down list
- highlight an entry in the drop-down list with the mouse or cursor Down key
do not click the mouse or press the Enter key - press the Delete key (on Mac: Shift+Delete) to delete the highlighted entry
For bookmarks, see:
Can you attach a screenshot?

- Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot
- Make sure that you do not exceed the maximum size of 1 MB
Thanks for answering but I am not making myself clear....not talking bookmarks but the toolbar above it....there is an icon that looks kind of like a tin can or a battery....when I click that icon it opens a list called supported sites with 4 headings for sitename...interest....rating....added.... I want to delete THIS list of websites...thank you
Does this have a name? Using the first response, you can drop it into the Customize icon bank. Or, you can remove / disable it's add-on.
