I have an RSS file which does not have
tag in the
. eg: JohnFeed:

The item is like below:

Sample Item

Sample Description

When i open this RSS file in Firefox, it shows me the Feed Preview page where it asks me to subscribe to the feed.

Now, once i subscribe, i get a button on the menubar with the feed name i.e JohnFeed. When i click on the JohnFeed feed button, no items are displayed.

If i go to other popular RSS sites (eg. CNN.com) and subscribe to their feeds, i get items in the feed button as they all have
tag in the
tag.

Please let me know how i can come across this barrier?

Hi Johnjoseph

Can you not just insert a link such as:
between your title and description tags? Or have I missed your point?
