Hey. I use the default start page (about:home) and I've been using it for years.I could double click or press the down arrow on the keyboard and the most searched items would appear in there, just like on every search bar, I believe. Like if you searched Youtube 10 times and Yahoo 5 times, it would show Youtube First, then Yahoo, then nothing else. I want that back :(. But since the 33.0.2 update, it got fully changed to Google. I have next to no search history on Google because I wasn't using it. How do I revert this ?

hello CipYcao, this is how you can change the default search provider: Search bar - add, change and manage search engines on Firefox

however i think your problem is not related to the kind of search engine you use. in firefox 33 the search field on the homepage will now populate by search suggestions provided by the search engine once you start typing -this is why the dropdown with your entries from history is no longer there unfortunately...

But can't it get reverted or something ? I really hate this new change. I tried messing around in the about:config, but couldn't do anything.

There's really no solution to this ? An addon or something ?
