Everytime I open FF I am asked if I want to change my home page
A few days a go I changed my home page. Now, every time I open FF, I am asked if I get "FF Homepage Notification" and I am asked if I want to revert to my old HP or stay with the new. The box says "Distributed by Mindspark Interactive Network, Inc." and "VideoDownloadConverterToolbar". The Video etc is not checked in View/Toolbars. It seems to be something new. BTW, the HP changed to the International NY Times, which I did not (knowingly) choose. I have tried to go back to the regular NY Times and keep getting the MSG. I changed my default to another newspaper and still get the MSG.
What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance for the help!

Your System Delete list shows the VideoDownloadConverter extension, so if the name of that extension is shown in that alert then it is likely that this extension is causing it.

I have the same problem. When I connect to my homepage I am asked to connect to my new homepage- yes or no. At the bottom of the post in one corner it says mindspark & the other corner it says on line map finder. It is very annoying. How do I delete this.
Hi johnhellyson
Did you check your extensions if you have any installed?
You can check in "Windows Control Panel > Programs" for recently installed programs to see if any suspicious software (Conduit, Search Protect) shows up.
- Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features > Uninstall or change a program
- Click the Installed column to sort by this heading
