The new "MOVE TO" feature is great but doesn't move email to the server folders. I rebuilt global Db..no fix. What do I do to repair?

Recently updated to ver. 60.5.0 and lost contact and storage of emails to folders on the mail server through use of the MOVE icon tab and the COPY tab. I use Microsoft account outlook imap-outlook. Rebuild of the global database didn't help. There must be a missing command link to the server to store the email item to a specific server folder. I have these storage folders on the mail server rather than on my local machine. I still have access to the folders listed in the side-bar window and can read old mail stored there. Just can't store new messages to the folders.

christ1 Thank you for your patience and comments. The right click solution works just fine. Dummy me was just not use to going there. My original version of Thunderbird had the Move and Copy features in the toolbar which made the copy into the new version installation but didn't complete the linkage. I will explore that as an extension. Otherwise all works fine. Thanks again for the assist. Case closed! dgrayb

I'm not aware of a new "MOVE TO" feature. What are you talking about?

Please explain in detail

Lets see if I can clarify what is happening: I store many messages and newsletters in folders listed in the left sidebar of my email window. In the mail Toolbar there is the Move To and Copy To functions that in the past kept a list of the last ten storage folders used and made an easy way to click a recent folder and store the current message. The new 60.5 version had expanded this function in cascading menu list from recent folders to entire folder list as in the left sidebar window. Clicking on a selected folder now does not store or copy a current message. It is a nul operation. However, I can still drag and drop the current message subject line to a folder in the left sidebar of my storage folders list and my message is moved and stored OK. There must be a code line missing from this new update. Is there a fix or have I missed something in the setup? I hope I defined the issue a bit better. Thank you for responding DG

These buttons may be from an extension you have installed at some point. However, you do get the very same functionality when right-clicking a message in the thread pane.
