I have Thunderbird installed on Windows 7 machine with three mail account set up. Two Add-Ins: Lightening and SOGo Connector. I could get rid of Lightening but the other one is essential. Every night Thunderbird crashes with Crash Reason: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION_READ, Signature NS_CycleCollectorSuspect3

Any clue?

OS Version 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 Build ID 20200602112704 (2020-06-02)

Post the latest crash report in Help/Troubleshooting, Crash Reports. It's a URL beginning with bp-...

In the meantime, try TB in safe mode (hold Shift when you launch TB), or in Windows safe mode.

If the cause is SOGo Connector, you might want to try the TbSync add-on (there is currently a ban on links in this forum; see picture).

I can't see any obvious source of the problem, but the issue is discussed in bug 1586494. TB safe mode will test if the Connector add-on is at fault, and Windows safe mode will test if Bitdefender is a cause. The general recommendation anyway is to exclude the TB profile folder from AV scanning, and also to disable scanning of secure (SSL) connections. But it's possible that neither SOGo nor BD are causing the crash.

I'm having a crash problem as well, but I don't understand the things you're talking about above. I don't know how to even find out if there are add ons in my program. I've submitted multiple crash reports today. I cannot keep the program open long enough to even get any emails read.
