All of a sudden my TB installation (release 91.3.2 running on Win 10) is displaying a .pdf attachment in TB itself! rather than displaying it with the associated program (Adobe Acrobat DC). Anybody have any idea why it is doing this?? Thanks.

Hello,

Thunderbird is doing this because not everyone has a pdf viewer. You can change this in edit > preferennces > Files and Attachments.

Thank you for this. I thought there might be something in Preferences but couldn't find it. I have changed this setting and now TB opens the .pdf in Acrobat. I have this setting in Windows but didn't realize that there was a similar setting in TB that needed to be set.

I am sorry for not clarifying, some OS's have other bars. In my OS, edit/preferences is the method, and tools/preferences is not.
