I have never had this problem before. I don't want my password filled in. I have checked the Security Settings in Firefox and NO passwords are being saved. It's not coming from AOL, since I checked and this is not happening with Internet Explorer. I can't understand how something like this can change without my authorization.

Details like websites remembering you (log you in automatically) are stored in a cookie. You may have ticked a box by accident to make the website remember you. Gmail (Google) for instance also has a checkmark in such a box by default.

You can delete the AOL cookies to make the website forget about you.

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
