delete a specific folder
One of my profile folder is C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\qrp3ekcl.default-1435010581971\storage\default and it contains about 3 GB of files. Can I safely delete the contents of this folder or at least some of the subfolders?

If you are not using that profile, the answer is yes. But first look inside and make sure there is nothing you want.

This folder stores local storage data that a website can use for offline data storage.
You can remove this folder to cleanup data stored in it. Firefox will recreate this folder when you visit a website that wants to store data. You can probably see what websites currently store data in this folder by the names of these folders.

What the **** is all this cr@p stored in this folder?
I clear history+cache regularly and this cr@p is here, it should not be here wasting disk space, very very lame Mozilla, no wonder people are ditching Firefox in droves when you pull anti-user rubbish like this.
"Tell you when a web site asks to store data for offline use" Not actually doing that are you. /pigged off
