I hate this.

You shouldn't release "Upgrades" that completely disable your important add-ons!

If you can't give the add-on authors enough advanced notice to prepare newer versions of their add-ons, or if you make such drastic changes to your code that it is unduly difficult for your add-on authors to keep up... RELEASE a SEPARATE VERSION of Firefox with your super cool enhancements for those people that don't rely on the add-ons you are about to disable !!!

And all for what?? So that we can now have a Chrome Clone??

If I wanted to use Chrome, I would use Chrome.

Do any developers monitor this forum?

Do they listen?

Anyone else out there that relies on a legacy add-on that no longer works?

Thanks for indulging me... Anthony

The Extension authors knew for months actually as it was no secret. Yet some who did updates did not do so until this week or still working on it more recently like the NoScript author.
