I upgraded a week ago and every since it constantly stops in the middle of running and says "Mozilla Firefox not responding" the screen goes grey and the the little blue circle goes around and around,it didnt do this till I updated.

So let me get this straight - Firefox locks up when you try to browse? You've got any addons installed? If so, which ones? Try going to Help > Restart with addons disabled.

Small program bits for a program that are supposed to extend their functionality, but some happen to crash your browser... For instance, all my Firefox installs have Adblock Plus.

hummm never had it do that till I upgraded last week PLUS I lost all my Favorites/Bookmarks that really pissed me off my husband and I lost ALL of them I have had them for years and I upgrade and lose them can't even tell you how mad we were 8o/ very frustrating to say the least. Thanks for your help!! CRAP it just did it again I guess it didn't work........GRRRRRR!!!! I'm atta loss 8o(

Almost forgot - back up your bookmarks. Go to Firefox > Bookmarks, then under Import and Backup, click Backup. (Just in case)
