Since about an hour agon, why is my mozilla is always on top and I have not added any new addons?
I was using Mozilla Firefox and switch to my music player and selected some music. I then returned to the browser and when I tried to switch back to the music player using alt/tab, the browser remained on top. I have tried this with other windows but the situation remains the same. I have browsed yahoo to see whether there was any information on this, however all I have seen related to this references an 'On Top' add on which I have never downloaded

Try the Firefox Safe Mode to see how it works there. The Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most add-ons.
(If you're not using it, switch to the Default theme.)
- You can open the Firefox 4.0+ Safe Mode by holding the Shift key when you use the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
- Or use the Help menu item and click on the Restart with Add-ons Disabled... menu item while Firefox is running.
Don't select anything right now, just use "'Start in Safe Mode" To exit the Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before using the Firefox shortcut (without the Shift key) to open it again. If it is good in the Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one.
Please follow the Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems article for that.

I followed your suggestion to start Firefox in safe mode and the problem disappeared. I then closed Firefox and reopened it in normal mode. I did not make any changes, but the problem seems to have corrected itself. I am not sure what or why that happened, but thank you for the help. I checked the Extensions and Adblock Plus 2.2.1 is enabled and Norton Toolbar 2013.2.2.3 and Norton Vulnerability Protection 11.1.1.5-2 both disabled. This is the same as it was when I had the issue.
Regardless, it is fixed now and again, I do thank you for your help
Problem with Addons only.
