Hi- I've been using Thunderbird for 2+ years and all of a sudden, HTML content isn't displaying within the email. Options show that remote content is enabled. I have unchecked it, closed Thunderbird, reopened it, reenabled remote content, reopened Thunderbird and the problem persists. Any ideas? This is nonsense. Thankls

Hi Have a look at Options - View. Look for HTML or plain text. The Remote content setting only refers to embedded links to online images/pages, but the email itself can be HTML.

View/Message Body As must be Original HTML for remote images to be visible. Also check webmail to see if the images are blocked before messages are downloaded to TB.

This is happening with all emails and I hadn't played with any of the Thunderbird settings prior to this happening. I can confirm that download content is enabled and the email's content is fully viewable when viewing through webmail. Problem still persists. I have even uninstalled and reinstalled Thunderbird. The problem remains.

Thanks on that last bit of help. I've never touch that setting before, but found it had been somehow bumped to Simple HTML. I switched it to Original HTML and all is well again. Thanks
