Is this a war between Microsoft IE9 and Mozilla Firefox? I hope not because it would be scary if they would carry out their war on your PC!

Unfortunately, Microsoft uploaded IE9without to many users without the approval from the user because they have automatic update enabled. It is recommended to remove IE9 because it is not supported by Citrix at the moment.

Here is a link to how to uninstall IE9:

Please take a look at some of the user’s complaints regarding IE9 in the article comments below the article:

From the forum link above, here is one of the comments from an IE 9 user that got IE9 as an update to his system:

“I accidentally installed IE9 today and after a few frustrating hours of looking for things and finding out that everything I used on a daily basis is unsupported (a favorites menu, the Windows toolbar), I did a system restore to get rid of it. If you try to uninstall this sucker (and its retarded cousin, Silverlight) you're in trouble, since the Control Panel doesn't seem to list IE9 as an un-installable program. What really ticked me off was trying to schedule my mortgage payment with Bank of America. The calendar function doesn't work and there doesn't seem to be a way to get the pop-up window to come up, even after disabling the blocker. Instead, it simply opens up a new tab, without bringing up the calendar. Forget IE9 - it isn't worth downloading.”

Another comment from another user:

“Certain web pages run slow, sluggish, or don’t' even really work at all. Facebook for example has given me lots of issues since the update. Yet Facebook works perfectly for me on the same computer using Chrome or Firefox. The Yahoo Home Page has also not been working correctly. In fact, just in order to post this comment I had to copy what I wrote, exit IE9, open up Chrome and than post on this page!!!! In IE9, every time I selected "Post as..." below, nothing would happen.”

But if someone really wants to use IE 9, then here is a workaround which has a different Citrix client and / or requires modifying the registry:
