Trending on Pocket

I cannot delete ‘Trending on Pocket’ from my ipad and would really appreciate any help in getting rid of this annoyance.

If you go to settings -> home -> there isn't an option to turn off "Trending on pocket"?

oh, duh... go to “Settings->Home” not “New Tab->Home”
