I m trying all my best to use Firefox on Android but is a completely disaster, is very slow in general (start up if killed) compared to chrome but is something I can live with in trade of add ons the main problem for me is the very slow speed for scrolling also scrolling is so different from any other android app I tried both Firefox and Nightly and played with friction value in about:config what 's really strange changing friction value won't have any effect so is it a bug? I is there something I can do before giving up?

If you find that Firefox for Android scrolls too quickly, it is possible to slow it down.

2>.In the address bar, enter about:config. 2>. In the search bar (top right), enter ui.scrolling.friction. This will display two settings: ui.scrolling.friction_fast and ui.scrolling.friction_slow. 3>.For both settings, double tap on the -1. 4>.Delete the -1 and enter 1500. 5>.Once done, in the address bar, enter about:home. 6>.Close Firefox for Android and re-open it.

You should now find that pages will scroll much less freely and be much more sticky.
