Firefox was working for a year. Now the crash reporter appears when trying to start it, even with holding "shift" to start in safe mode. Crash ID: bp-0557e5a4-57c8-45f3-b017-811e92160601

Even after uninstall, deleted all Mozilla folders, removed any reference to Firefox in the registry, then a Firefox 52.3.0esr clean install on Windows XP SP3.

Crash Not Found We couldn't find the Crash ID you're after.

In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>.

Note: If any reports do not have BP in front of the numbers/letters, click it to submit them.

The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.

Using your mouse, mark the most resent 7 - 10 crash reports, and copy them. Now go to the reply box and paste them in.

How long between starting Firefox and it crashing?

Start your Computer in safe mode with network support. Then start Firefox. Try Safe websites. Is the problem still there?

I thank all who are trying to help, but FredMcD, you're trying to be funny, right? "In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>" As I stated, there is no address bar. Firefox does not launch, start, run, display. Only the crash reporter window is displayed. I got the crash ID from the only file in the "...\Crash Reports\Submitted" folder. That was the total content of the file. I don't have access to the troubled computer all the time, but I will have Windows XP started in safe mode next to see if Firefox will launch. Chrome and Internet Explorer 8 both work, but IE8 is useless on most sites these days.
