Since updating to macOS Mojave 10.14.6, Firefox freezes my machine.

May or may not be related to (or the cause of) the fact my Adblocker (see below) is now every time FF launches, popping up a new tab saying, hey sorry we couldn't get your settings from the last session, please reset' which I do, but every time FF opens the same again. Eventually, at about 5+ minutes into any FF session, my Mac just locks up. System level process manager (CmdOptEsc) non-responsive, ROM level press power key briefly get a clean reboot prompt non-responsive. Press and hold power key force shutdown thankfully functional, and no risk of power surge incurred by having in the end to pull a plug or turn off a power strip.

I'm both mightily convinced and steamed about it after several trials that is is Firefox and only Firefox and/or extensions. Sorry, but I'm not opening FF again to see all what I have.

Send me a copy that is NOT the version I currently am running which you'll have to figure is the one you have going now, so just take that back to the shop and have a look again because something's amiss. I'm ill, I'm limited in my movements. I don't have the god damned time to figure it out for you.

Try starting Firefox in Safe Mode, which is done by holding down the option key while starting Firefox.

If that doesn't help, you may want to consider performing a clean reinstall of Firefox. Certain things like OS updates have been known to damage existing software on your computer. Reinstalling Firefox is an excellent way to fix any files that may have been damaged during your update.

There are also some common steps that you can take if Firefox is crashing. See Troubleshoot Firefox crashes (closing or quitting unexpectedly) for more information about that.

If nothing above helps, it may be useful to post crash reports (if there are any). This will help us to see the specifics of your system and hopefully aid in finding the cause. Right now, the members here are kind of working blind.

Hope this helps.
