Why are emails missing in Thunderbird using Spectrum?
I have Spectrum and have used Thunderbird for years. Recently I have noticed that emails are not showing in my inbox. They do show up in the Windows10 email. I made some changes in the Thunderbird account setting and thought I fixed the problem, but today I still see that emails are missing. Any ideas?

Is the account set up as POP or IMAP in W10 Mail? If it's IMAP in both TB and Mail, there might be a corrupted message that's blocking downloads to TB but not to Mail. Access the account through webmail and empty Trash and Spam, and delete messages from Inbox from around the time the problem began, and see if the rest of them download to TB.

I did as you suggested; cleared out inbox, deleted all in Trash and Junk, then closed an restarted Thunderbird.
At least 2 emails that I know were missing appeared in my inbox, so hopefully this has solved the problem.
Thanks!!!
Sorry to say I'm still having problems. It seems I have to close Thunderbird and restart it for emails to show. Clicking "Get Messages" does nothing.
Go back to the question of how the account is set up in TB and Mail. Is it POP or IMAP, and is it the same for both apps?
Thunderbird is IMAP. I can't find what Windows10 email is.
