Hi ladylazy9x,

I believe it can be adjust with your computer's registry. You can do it in this way:- 1. Close the Firefox browser first, if it's open. 2. Go to "Start" and go to "Control Panel". 3. Click the "Appearance and Personalization" link and then click "Change window glass colors.". 4. Click "Advanced appearance settings..." at the bottom of the page to open a new window. 5. Click the drop-down menu below "Items" and select "Scrollbar" from the list of options. 6. Click the up and down arrow buttons to adjust the value in the "Size" box or use your keyboard to enter a number. A visual representation displays at the top of the screen. 7. Click "Apply" once you are satisfied and then restart Firefox for the changes to the scrollbar to take effect.

Hope this helps!

Regards, Cv

Note that the OP is on Linux (Ubuntu), so instructions for Windows won't work.

Note that web pages can use CSS rules to modify the scroll bar appearance (color and width).
