I did a Windows10 update repair on my computer. It wiped out my old version of Firefox. I'd like to import my old bookmarks into the new Firefox installation.

The solutions already shown in the Mozilla community won't work for me. For one thing under my application menu there is no "import" menu under "Bookmarks."

Hi

Do you have a separate backup of your Firefox profile or have your bookmarks in Firefox on another device?

I have a "bookmark" backup folder from my last Firefox install. It's a JSON file.

You can check if Windows created a C:\Windows.old folder with your previous data.

It created a JSON file, named Old Firefox Data/..... bookmark backups. I need instructions to import my old bookmarks from this file into the bookmarks of my new Firefox. The articles I've seen in Mozilla Support miss a lot of steps in how to do this
