It will only allow music and pictures and i have tried all trouble shooting suggestions i could find on the internet. and NOTHING worked!! Please help!

Can you download with Safe Mode enabled?? Try Safe Mode and check "Disable all add-ons". Yahoo Toolbar is known to be NOT good, it's a scam; Take it off and see if that solves your problem.
