the icon for Download Helper has disappeared and I can't seem to get it back. I see reference to it in the Firefox Tools dropdown. Where did it go? Thank you.

Video Download Helper is an add-on that I frequently use. It used to have an icon right next to the home icon beside the URL line. It is no longer there. It disappeared after Firefox prompted me to update.

I believe that the add-on is still available to use by Firefox because it has a drop-down embedded in the "tools" drop-down in Firefox.

I have attempted to reload Video Download Helper, but to no avail.

Thanks for your help!

Try this:

http://www.downloadhelper.net/manual.php

You may need to manually add the icon to your toolbar.
