Was running Firefox 4.0. Today I installed the yahoo toolbar (yahoo_firefox_4.0-rc2_setup_us.exe). Now two add-ons I use regularly are incompatible and were disabled.

How do I revert to my previous installation? If I can't, can I save/export my bookmarks?

You can remove the Yahoo toolbar via Tools | Add-ons | Extensions.

Restart FF4 and then re-enable the ones which were disabled.

To export bookmarks, go to Bookmarks | Show All Bookmarks, then click Bookmarks Menu on the left and finally, click Import And Backup at the top and choose Export HTML.

P.S. Sorry it took so long to respond to your question.

Thanks for the reply! However, i had tried what you suggested, but the yahoo toolbar was not listed in the add-on extensions list. The exe seemed to change the firefox installation, in that after I installed the toolbar the help>about firefox listed "4.0 yahoo version" (or something similar). I ended up up reinstalling 4.0, and will not make that mistake again :)
