However, if you have disabled Protected Mode, I think this isn't supposed to affect you. Can you check your Flash folder to see whether the mms.cfg file is there and contains the expected content?

it says in the mms.cfg file AutoUpdateDisable=0 SilentAutoUpdateEnable=1 the scan only shows detected 22 of some things

If you want to disable protected mode, you need to also add

ProtectedMode=0

Hi mohit35, could you click the most recent ones and make sure they are submitted up to the server? The forum didn't recognize the numbers (the ones that work here start with "bp").

Just a thought and I have no idea how support for this is going to work, but users with Flash crashes or hangs could consider using the Aurora channel of Firefox even if only as an additional browser for a few tests. The reason I suggest this is that Aurora now has an improved crash reporters specifically for these sorts of hang.

It is possible we could get important information from the new report that could assist either our own or the Flash developers.

If any one does wish to do that please start a new thread and then post back here. Post here or in your own thread if you need assistance with installing or using Aurora. It is considered advanced and so generally unsupported on this forum to install a second version of Firefox. Mozillazine however have good support articles such as

I do not think at this stage the new reporter will be moving up any further than Aurora, so not becoming a feature of the future Firefox 24 release.

This is some standard guidance that addresses the most common issues affecting Flash. I'm sure you've seen some of it before, but just in case:

(1) Make sure all recorders/downloaders that interact with Flash media are as up-to-date as possible, or disable them.

(2) Disable hardware graphics acceleration in Firefox and in Flash

(A) In Firefox, un-check the box here and restart:

orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced > General > "Use hardware acceleration when available"

(B) In Flash, see this support article from Adobe: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/video-playback-issues.html#main_Solve_video_playback_issues

(3) Disable protected mode (Windows Vista/7/8)
