how do i flip between windows (not tabs) on firefox for mac?

i have a 3 year old mac book pro and yes i use fire fox. when i first open fire fox i will click on a link witch will completely redirect me to a new window. (not just a new tab) and the only way i can switch back to the original window is by exiting the new one. i was wondering if there is a way to flip between multiple windows. (not tabs)

That should be Cmd + tilde (~).
