when adding an attachment, after a few continuous clicks on the scroll bar, it automatically scrolls enormously fast just by hovering the mouse over the scroll bar. Moving the mouse away stops the scrolling, but moving the mouse back over causes it to scroll enormously fast again. Which means I can't even put the mouse over the bar without it blasting down the scroll bar. this is on a laptop, there is no scroll button involved. Changing the mouse settings yields no results. How do i disable this? NOTES: Only happens in FF, autoscrolling is disabled. does not happen in IE. To clarify, this happens when i am on any site that allows me to attach a file. For example, in Google reverse image search, I click browse: open my picture file, start to click down the scroll bar, and suddenly it rapidly blasts down the list without clicking until i move the mouse away. Hovering the cursor back over the scroll bar cause the rapid automatic scrolling even without clicking. This happens in Facebook, on Google, on MIghtyText, on ANY WEBSITE that allows attaching a file. FINAL NOTE: i have had to ask this question 3 times now with 3 usernames because Mozilla Support will not allow me to log back in to reply to my own question. WHY IS THAT? It allows me to post, to authorize the account, but subsequent log-ins to check my own question trap me in a loop of "an error has occurred." I tried re-authorizing the account but it only says it is already authorized. I tried changing the password but I still get trapped in a log-in loop of "an error has occurred." My original dontbesojumpy account is inaccessible due to a loop of "error has occurred" messages. TREMENDOUSLY frustrating that Mozilla is compounding problems on top of the problem i already have.
