Really, I cannot restore my address window after removing it from the toolbar. Please Help. I cannot enter a URL now. Ridiculous.

Type about:customizing<enter> in the address bar. Look for Show / Hide Toolbars at the bottom left.

There is also a Restore Defaults button at the bottom middle.

How does one type into a place that does not exist? My problem is THERE IS NO ADDRESS BAR. Did you even read my question?

Try to open a new window via Ctrl+N to see if that has the Navigation Toolbar visible.

You can prevent websites from hiding toolbar by toggling some prefs to false on the about:config page. See:

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I'll be careful" to continue.

Can you open the Customize feature using either:

  • "3-bar" menu button > Customize
  • tapping these keys in sequence: Alt V T C

If the address bar is available to drag back to its normal location, try that.

If it can't be found or can't be moved to the toolbar, try the Restore Defaults button at the bottom center of the Customize tab.

Any luck?

Ouch . . . Sorry, my bad.

Move the mouse to the top of the page and right click. One of the choices should be Customize.
