I have three email accounts, one calendar and gcontactsync passwords in my saved passwords file. When I start Thunderbird I am asked for the Master password five times. Is this a bug in 38 or have I configured something wrong?

It's a known problem. As a workaround you can install this add-on. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/startupmaster/

Thanks for the speedy reply. Considering this add on has been around since 2014 I'm just surprised that the problem has been fixed yet. Worked like a charm tho.
