Thunderbird says that my password for my gmail account is no good.
Simply put, the question explains my dilemma. I have read I think almost every help page the Thunderbird has to offer on this problem. As usual, some help pages lead you on and then leave you hanging with what to do next. Other help solutions do not apply. The thing is, I have 4 other Win10 PC's that have accepted my password for the gmail. It's this machine, that I'm writing to you on, is giving me problems. The other four PC's are working just fine with my password. My I appeal to this forum for help? Thanks George

Thank you for this opportunity. My LAN has many devices attached, 5 of which are Win10 PC's. I have been using Thunderbird for years. Four of the PC's, NO PROBLEM. Always one in every crowd. gmail says that I have an error. In haste, when I read the reply, and activate the response, I was at another computer. There was no error message. And, after going thru my head, I realized that I was making a mistake. I was at another computer on my LAN. I tried it on the malfunctioning PC, and still, the error message persists. Hence, this solution did not work for me. So, therefore, could I please ask the Forum to re-open the question? Thank you for your indulgence. George

It isn't closed in the sense that you cannot post to the thread anymore. I believe you can remove the 'Solution' tag yourself.
