All I want it to stop new message popup window on the right hand screens whatever I'm doing. It lists most of the messages that particular account of 3 I link and has no visible "x" or whatever. Times out after several (long) seconds, but I don't need it at all.

I've found FAQ type answers saying to go to system/options/preferences and declick the notify button, but my 3-bar, top-right button and then selecting options has NO "preferences" choice. Options has options, account settings, various selectable toolbars, toolbar layout and finally layout. Clicking options on the options pulldown gave me lots of 'advanced' items, but going thru all of them still had no 'notifications' or 'preferences'.

Thanks and have an Improving Day ! ! !

I think the unwanted popup notification large window is gone, still see little lower right individual messages, but they don't cover the browser window I've trying to read.

Still don't see 'preferences', but I'll live with it.
