I unstalled my old Firefox version without saving my bookmarks. I then installed the current Firefox version and realized that all my bookmarks are gone. I tried already to restore them, it finds the file, but then I cannot import them. The c:\windows.old thing does not work for me. Any other ideas where to look for my old bookmarks? Thanks, Daniela

hello daniella,

windows.old pertains/has your old o.s. It is created when windows is updraded to a newer version

in regards to your firefox, why did you not simply allow the former version to be upgraded instead of unistalling it?

Type about:profiles<enter> in the address bar. How many profiles are listed? How many should be there? Also, open the profile folder in your file explorer.
