Importing Bookmark Folders

more options

I have a Favorites folder in which there are sub-folders with short cuts to web pages in them. The Favorites folder is in Documents and Setting. Clicking on the shortcuts take to to the relevant web page. I believe that these folders and shortcuts were created in IE. So, can I bring these folders into Firefox bookmarks?

Firefox doesn't deal with individual "favorites" folders from Documents & Settings. You need to export in HTML format from IE and then import that file into Firefox. It's all or nothing when it comes to exporting from IE and importing into Firefox, unless you edit the exported HTML file to include only that one folder before importing into Firefox,

In IE: File > Import/Export - Export to HTML file

then in Firefox:
Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks -> Import & Backup - Import HTML... = From HTML file
