This is how my bookmarks looks like in Ctrl+Shift+B http://prohardver.hu/dl/upc/2013-07/122010_4304.png

This is how it looks at 1650+ wide screen. http://i.imgur.com/DGrwLEC.png

This is what happens when the screen size reaches 1600px~ http://i.imgur.com/hziXVBF.png

This is a problem with my laptop with 1366px wide screen. And it was good until last year when I upgraded to a new Firefox Nightly few months ago, and this problem occurred.

And the cause of this problem is the Address bar, If I removed it the icon did not disappear (minimize) Tried to change the width of the address bar, but did not help. What else can I do? Only this bookmark folder disappear, all other icons stays...

Yeah resetting firefox it is a hilarious answer. Please stop suggesting such a thing, when it is not neccessery. Since I did not got any answer, deleted a few files and the localstore.rdf came out to be the problem, deleted and rearranged icons again, now it is working fine.

Your solution is dumb as hell, why the hell would I start over the whole setting up process (with 30 extensions etc) and might be end with same bug?

I can't give a big minus for your "solution" but you should go to the corner and think about what have you wrote!

If I wanted to hear a stupid thing like that I would call a dumb support center to get "have you tried turn it off and back on again?" answers...

I'm really pissed and angry about this, it was the first and the last I tried to get answers here, I tought it is a good/clever support site, I was wrong.

Hello,

The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information. Note: This will cause you to lose any Extensions, Open websites, and some Preferences.

To Reset Firefox do the following:

  1. Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
  2. Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
  3. Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
  4. Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

Further information can be found in the Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings article.

Did this fix your problems? Please report back to us!

Thank you.

Good for you, shouldnt be using Nightly (as a defualt browser) as there are always chances for profile corruption etc.

Thank you cpt obvious! Any more good advices? Like breath often to not die? Does it has anything to the question? I had the same problem with FF22.

Yeah my point is you are using the same profile with 2 different versions of the browser. (there are bugs and changes made every day in Nightly land) Which again can corrupt files in the profile folder. You can use seperate profiles though to prevent this from happening again in a short while (it is likely to happen again).

And there is always a solution for everything, and the most dumbest thing you can suggest is the deleting of the profile, aka reset firefox.
