After updating Aurora to version 25, I've been discovering a whole lot of UI changes that I've utterly hated, as has been the case with most updates post-Firefox 3. I can live with most of them, but the changes to the Findbar are just awful. It's been moved to the top of the screen, made a nice "Eyesore Blue", and doesn't stay open between tabs. Is there an option in Config to fix at at least some of this?

hello, this is all done in preparation of a redesign which will presumably be fully implemented in firefox 26: http://people.mozilla.com/~shorlander/files/australis-design-specs/australis-design-specs-windows7-aero.html

if you don't like the changes you could stick to firefox 24, which will also be available as a extended-support-release and supplied with security updates for a year.
