If you export your bookmarks to an HTML file and then import them on the other computer, they will merge together. Importing bookmarks, via an HTML file, shouldn't override your other bookmarks.

I did that for a test,but the problem with that is that it exports every bookmark not just mine. I was trying to just import mine but that didn't work .So you probably say I'll have to edit the HTML file and delete  the rest of the info. that also didn't want to do, they have about 8 years of link in there. the info u gave me about the merge was good to know because i didn't know that it worked that way..Like in old IE u could just go to favorites copy what u needed and just past it in to another PC under where u wanted it in the favorites.Also thank you for your fast response... I do wish FF had a way to do this as easy as it was in IE.

It's funny that you mention IE because that was going to be my next thought:

(1) Export from their Firefox to an HTML-format file (2) Remove the contents of your IE Favorites folder to a backup location and import their Firefox bookmarks file into your IE (3) Remove all your IE Favorites that you don't care about (4) Export from your IE to an HTML-format file (5) Import that file into your Firefox (6) Restore your original IE Favorites, or build a new one from your Firefox bookmarks

Naturally, if this is a small number of bookmarks, that is not worth the effort...

Firefox stores the bookmarks in a SQLite database file unlike IE that stores each bookmark as a file and folder on the hard drive and thus take a lot more space. Storing favorites that way makes it easier to export only part of them.

Note the you can open the HTML file in Firefox and use View Selection Source to only copy parts that interest you to another file.

I haven't used IE in years, But if i had to it would be practical to do that.The PC in storage now And soon i will be able to bring it here to use it.But i had to figure out how to do what i wanted in one step, But i will export to HTML then edit it then merge to Firefox. I looked @ the export And Will edit. Thanks for your comment's Ill keep them in mind for any future People Who need help..

Alternately, or maybe this was covered before, when you import the HTML-format bookmarks file, the entire file contents should be placed in an Imported Bookmarks folder. You can drag the part you care about into the main Bookmarks menu and then delete the Imported Bookmarks folder to dump the rest.

I've never tried that myself, but it seems as though it might be fastest if you don't mind having the extra baggage briefly.
