The size of the font and icons in my http bar has shrunk. How do I reverse it?
Today when I started up Firefox the size of everything in the url bar has appeared to become smaller, and it's almost like the font has changed. What happened and how do I fix it?
Edit: The default firefox theme (48.0.2) has been updated yesterday, August 25. I'm pretty sure this caused it but I still don't know how to fix it.

I'm not aware of any intentional changes to the way fonts are sized in the toolbar area, but I can only compare on Windows 7.
How extensive is the change:
- All fonts in the toolbar area including tab titles and menu bar (if you tap the Alt key)
- All fonts including in page content
- Only the address bar
Do you use any add-ons or "full" themes to modify the address bar or toolbar area? If so, please check whether they are still enabled on the Add-ons page. Either:
- Ctrl+Shift+a (Mac: Command+Shift+a)
- "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions. Then review the list on the right side. If an extension is disabled, it will be at the bottom. You also could experiment with disabling anything related to the address bar, or check for updates using the "gear" button above the list to "Check for Updates"
Only the adress bar has been changed. I don't use any add-ons that modify the look of my browser.
I may have been a bit unspecific. It's the suggestions that drop down when you type in the adress bar that have undergone the change.
My apologies for being unclear.
Oh, okay, yes, Firefox 48 has a completely new drop-down design from Firefox 47 and before. Several users have reported odd sizing of the fonts there (much too small, much too large).
Could you check out the discussion in this thread and see whether it helps:
