I recently downloaded 9.0 and installed it. But after I reboot my computer and open Firefox, I get the notice that 9.0 is available and I should upgrade now.

It says in your system details that you are definitely running the latest version of Firefox. Where are you seeing this message? Is it at:

www.google.com/firefox/

If it is, this is a known problem. Take a look at the post by cor-el in this thread. Hopefully that helps!
