While doing my daily routine of email reading I noticed a commercial for walmart running in the background about 1/2 set volume. At this time I lhave 3 computers running ....win 7 Firefox 30.0, linux mint 16 Firefox 30.0 and linux mint 17 cannot find version. All have this commercial at odd times. This is very irritating. I called my Isp and they hear the same thing. Please Help.

You can check the connection settings.

If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then try to select "No Proxy" if "Use the system proxy settings" or one of the others do not work properly.

See "Firefox connection settings":

You can also check the settings in the router.

Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.

You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:

Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one.

Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.

iamjayakumars, that is a reply for Windows users only and not for Linux if you read the post which mentioned one Win 7 and two Linux Mint systems

I just wonder if it may be a Ad like say a Flash one going on in one of the tabs whether background or active if you have the same site open in a tab on each system. Maybe a Ad on page in the unnamed webmail service you use?
