Lost Firefox previous session.
Hey everyone,
I opened my FF on android yesterday and realized all my previous session tabs (around 50) had disappeared. It was reset back to zero tabs. I know I shouldnt have so many tabs open but I really want to restore my old session and was wondering if anyone else has had this issue. I'm pretty desperate and want my previous sessions back since I was researching some stuff.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Greetings, firefox itself has an indepth guide on how to restore previous sessions after various malfunctions and accidents, you can find the link here:

Good luck!
Thanks for the reply. I've restored tabs on a desktop version before, but the issue I'm having is with the android version. I couldn't find any similar documentation or fixes for Android FF.

Unfortunately, there is no way to restore tabs on mobile device manually. Usually under most circumstances if the Firefox application is killed, on launch it should restore all of the previous tabs, although there are some exceptions when it does not, they are rare.
You can read more about certain scenarios on session restore here: https://wiki.mozilla.org/Mobile/SessionRestore
Good luck!
I had the same problem, and judging by the latest reviews on the Play Store it seems a lot of other people do too. It seems to have happened following the latest update.
I had a similar problem also, on two different devices. ("Similar" because I didn't lose all my tabs -- I lost all my tabs except one.) On one of the devices I know it was the day after the update; I don't have the other device at hand to check. On one device I lost about 10 tabs; on the other, about 60.
I like Firefox a lot, but this is extremely frustrating. In about two years of using Firefox on Android, I think this may be the first time I've lost tabs, so that's some small comfort -- unless it's an indication of more trouble to come.
Hopefully not, in the last couple months, Firefox has been pushing various updates regarding feature and functionality and it did have some issues. Sometimes it can't be avoided, and sometimes I recommend just waiting a day or two before updating Firefox, to see if there are no negative responses about the update.
