Many times I just shut down due to frustration at the multiplicity of crashes. I have work interviews coming up and don't want the system crashing in the midst. Please, I have sent remarks on several crash reports along with my email address an have heard nothing in response. Please educate me on what I may do to keep this from happening. HELP PLEASE?!?!? and Thank you!

hi, unfortunately you're on Mac OS X 10.7, which we dropped support for a while ago already. are you able to update your device to macos 10.9 or newer, so you'd be able to receive the latest firefox with all fixes? Firefox support has ended for Mac OS X 10.6, 10.7 and 10.8
Thank you for taking the time to answer my query. I thought this might be the issue-but WHY is there no support for this version? Not everyone can afford to upgrade. So why is this version not supported? I can't believe I am the only person having this issue. I'm not sure if I must pay for the 10.9 upgrade? or how to do this buy a new computer? Yes, I am computerly challenged. Can you assist with this?
hi, please see the support link from before about updating 10.7 to el capitan - i don't think that apple is charging for those updates.

Firefox 48.0.2 was made EOL when Firefox 49.0 was Released.
Actually the most up to date version (to still run on OSX 10.6/10.7/10.8) with security fixes was actually Firefox 45.9.0esr and not 48.0.2.

The Firefox 48.0.2 was released August 24, 2016 and is missing several security updates that the Firefox 45.9.0esr released on April 19, 2017 has.
