I've tried in vain to restore my missing history from 1st May 2011 to 14th December 2011. Can Mozilla send me these dates' history?
I have no history before 15th December 2011. I was told this should be due to a Firefox update deleting every bit of older history for security reasons.
I also have another question. Can Mozilla send me every single bookmark and history link that I've deleted? I'd like this for all the years I've been using this PC: from 2008 until now.
Thank you in advance. Any reply will be highly appreciated.

1. We don't collect your bookmarks or history. 2. Firefox can delete some old history entries for performance issues.
Note that Firefox automatically calculates a maximum number of history pages to keep. This maximum is stored in a read-only pref.

You would need to have an older copy of places.sqlite that still has this older history. If you have used the refresh feature in Firefox then look for an "Old Firefox Data" folder on the desktop.
You can look at this utility to browse System Restore points and search for places.sqlite.
