No tabs will open except the support or the three lines. 45 tabs open and none accessible. DO I just have to change to Safari and erase everything made by mozilla? What is the other name for the three lines? Do we really need the three lines, @ is easier to refer to, or * or £ or a thousand other characters all unused on all our keyboards. How should I create the three lines symbol? Has this been chosen so that no one can even talk about the three lines in a similar way that androod has the wank symbol for non-gay access to the root directory?

Solution turned out to be advanced, easy and it worked, lads.

The three bars is the menu icon.

The frozen tabs reappear after rebooting Firefox.

Sorry for intimidating you, that is not the way to progress, shaming others, but it's done now and I apologize.

It's "5:07 AM" in micky mouse land according to this post feedback. Why do we not have standard time? Standard time is the same all over the world and in mickymouse land they still work in "7/16th of an inch" which we all know is nonsense but the micky mouse people can't accept change...... Why should the whole world have to suffer this nonsense when in fact it is the Chinese system which is advanced, logical and already universal?

OK I see that mozilla is solely an American enterprise and thus no one is awake to sort this out. Sad to lose so much work due to a tiny fraction of world population being stuck in a hundred year old framework and unwilling to move on. Bending things this way and that just to maintain control. Thankfully evolution results in the death of those things which fail continually. 2019 11 12 12:30

Solved the problem. Changed US "Engish" preference to correct UK English and restarted. Tabs were accessible again. I tried to remove "US Engish" from the list of "languages" but the delete button is not active (Grey). How can we remove "US Engish" altogether? It is very very frustrating to be faced with nonsense from the land of wooden huts, when in fact I no longer go there, nor do I wish to see ANYTHING which has its origin in that uneducated area.

You can set the time zone in your SUMO profile (default is US/Pacific).

You can find the full version of the current Firefox release (70.0) in all languages (including en-GB) and all operating systems here:

The date format is incorrect. US?pacific zone should be ERASED, never ever used as default again. Why use the wrong thing when you could use the right thing? Wnh is there no English setting? ie True English and not this sorta kinda, like a you no yanky wanky english. Yankyqwnky english is DESTROYING progress by diluting knowledge into its lowest possible constituents, hence losing quality at the expense of quantity. Less material, faster achieving lower useful results.

Correct date format: 2019 11 13 01:38 as opposed to "Today at 4:21" which means nothing, even to Americans.

The default is set to US/Pacific because the company Mozilla that makes products such as desktop Firefox has the head office in Mountain View, California. https://www.mozilla.org/contact/spaces/

This a community support forum and not a help desk or a ticket system or a chat or such one on one system.

So perhaps someone can pass this on to the people working at the mountain and explain to them that this can be viewed from across the world, at the very least it is embarrassing but showing their ignorance of world wide standards.

"Internet company uses their own local units showing their wish to be universal, but was exposed to be dreaming, (unconnected to the majority of their clients), by an unknown entity representing the world wide community." is one possible heading of a report to be released soon.

If you see a mistake fix it as soon as possible, don't look for excuses for not fixing things. 2019 11 13 09:24

It is quit normal that you need to check and possibly adjust the time zone in a forum in the setting of this forum account. If you regularly visit forums in various countries then you should be familiar with this, each forum uses its own default time zone.

Myanmar, Liberia, and the United States are the only third world countries using antiquated systems, so it is only natural that anyone should ask WHY? To make an excuse is again avoiding the issue - universal usage is desirable or do these people on the mountain think that we should all readjust our lives to fit in with their redundant way of presenting TIME in each situation? To defend this is going against all scientific conventions. I am only trying to help. When people are sick, it is natural to wish to return them to a state of normality. That is why we communicate on the world wide web, to reach consensus. Agreement. Universal standards. No? Not necessary? 2019 11 13 23:18

So they went silent up their mountain - no excuse, nothing to learn, 'we do everything right'. FIX it, before the Chinese take over and do it their way (which thankfully is correct, but it would be nice if you could open your eyes to your FAILINGS)! 2011 15 13:14

As cor-el said it is quite normal for forums to have the default timezone be set to where the forum owner is located or where head office of company is located. Normally you can change the timezone in your forum account at least.

If the Mozilla head office was located in say their Toronto, On, Canada location then the default timezone for this forum would then likely be Eastern Standard Time. https://www.mozilla.org/contact/spaces/

While you can customize the way the date and time is displayed for posts on some forum platforms like phpBB3, it is not a feature here, at least not at the moment as this support platform software is customized to tie in with the Knowledge Base.

Mountain View is a city located in Santa Clara County, California, United States. Many of the largest technology companies in the world are headquartered in this city. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mountain_View,_California
