Firefox slows down while streaming

Streaming on xfinity -- Firefox starts hogging memory and increasing cpu activity for no apparent reason. I have to quit FF and restart to regain speed, and the process starts over again.

Content you don't need such as ads or tracking scripts can significantly slow down page loading. Firefox's built-in content-blocking feature can make the pages load faster by preventing third-party trackers from loading. See Enhanced Tracking Protection in Firefox for desktop for details.

Your comment led me to eventually find "about:processes" which shows cpu and memory use by everything running on the computer. I turned off "Video DownloadHelper" and "TWP - Translate Web Pages" and the Firefox usage went from 100% to 20%, which was enough to stop the video chatter on Xfinity.
