Using LinuxMint 10 (like Ubuntu 10.10). WIth FF 3.16, when I select "Open Containing Folder" (when a download is finished). FF opens the folder using Nautilus. Now FF4 always as to select an application to open the folder. Obviously I want to open the folder using Nautilus, so I type nautilus.

Now the context menu Open or Open Containing Folder do absolutely nothing. Please note that on Windows, Open Containing Folder works correctly. It really opens the folder using Windows Explorer.

Is it still possible in FF4 to Open the Containing folder? If yes, please show how. If not, please put it back the way it was in FF3.

Thanks

Works for me on Linux. Make sure that the files are still in the original download location if those context menu entries are grayed.

Does it work if you open the profile folder?

This does nothing. (Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Open Containing Folder)

Clicking on the "Open Containing Folder" does absolutely nothing. The action is just ignored. How can such a basic things could pass QA Test after such a lengthy beta test period? I found this defect right at the first day of use.
