The latest update borked my tabs interface, caused me to accidentally close seven tabs, and hid the 'history' function so I can't even reopen them.
How do I recover the tabs I closed? Re-starting the program caused the tabs interface to fix itself, but I still can't find the History function...

Hi again Rinnbaku:
1. "Actually, history doesn't show. It used to, but now all I've got is bookmarks and synced tabs." You can get history to show up again by opening the Firefox Menu | Settings | Home | tap on History | "Show"

Hi Rinnbaku
You didn't give us enough information to help you. I have no problem with Firefox for Android 35 on my Galaxy S5 running Android 4.4.2 with my tabs
- What version of Firefox are you using on which tablet or phone and what version of Android OS (2.3 Gingerbread, 4.4 Jellybean etc) ?
- What steps did you follow, what happened, what did you expect to happen?
- Browser History and Recent Tabs can be found by long tapping the url bar at top of the screen and swiping just below the url of the left and right. Documentation: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/use-awesome-screen-search-web-bookmarks-and-more#w_search-the-web-your-bookmarks-and-browsing-history-in-one-place
i hope the browser history and recent tabs tips help and you can give us the info requested in #1 and #2
Cheers!

Actually, history doesn't show. It used to, but now all I've got is bookmarks and synced tabs.
I'm on a droid turbo, with the latest version of Firefox (35.0), and android OS 4.4.4
As for steps? I had about seven tabs open, and the notification for a Firefox update popped up on my screen. I waited til I got on the WiFi at home to download and install it. Once finished, it was a little while before I opened the app again.
When I tried to use up the tabs button, instead of dropping the current page to the bottom and showing all of my tabs, it only opened enough to show ONE tab at a time. I figured out that it had also reversed the gestures ('up and down' for scrolling became 'swipe to close tab', and vice versa), but that was only after I had accidentally closed all my tabs while trying to scroll through them. I attempted recovery through the history function, only to discover it missing entirely.
At this point, I completely closed out of Firefox and restarted the app. This fixed the issue with the tabs window and the gestures, but I am still missing my browsing history page. I've discovered that I CAN still access it, if I type in the address bar, but only if I know exactly what I am looking for...
Is that enough detail for the problem?

Oh forgot to mention there is documentation for showing/hiding history and tabs and bookmarks here:
And finally 2. "As for steps? I had about seven tabs open, and the notification for a Firefox update popped up on my screen. I waited til I got on the WiFi at home to download and install it. Once finished, it was a little while before I opened the app again. "
This sounds like something weird in the FF34->35 upgrade. Perhaps caused by an add-ons?
In the Firefox menu | Tools } Add-ons (i recommend uninstalling any Add-ons and seeing if this prevents this problem from happening again)
And finally for real :-)
"Is that enough detail for the problem?" Yes it is! Thanks for your patience. I should have asked about Add-ons before. Let us know if this helps! ...Roland
