Hi all, my browser keeps on deleting all history files everytime i close it. How can i turn it off? Thanks to all who would answer this.
I noticed earlier today that everytime i open my firefox browser all my history files are gone, saved passwords, etc. I think it's deleting automatically everytime i close it. Anyone knows how to turn it off? Thanks in advance to those who will answer.

Hello,
Check if the option Clear history when Firefox closes is checked.
Hello Sir Diego,
Thanks for the reply. But i can't seem to find that option. Would u mind instruct me how to do it?
Press Ctrl+H. It opens your history. In the option clear hystory, check whether you have marked the option clear history each time closed. If yes, uncheck it
I don't see that option in my history tab. But i have changed my settings in the privacy settings to remember history and it seems to be working now. Thanks for the help sir.
To see all History and Cookie settings, choose:
- Tools > Options > Privacy > Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history"
- https://support.mozilla.org/kb/remove-recent-browsing-search-and-download-history
Clearing "Site Preferences" clears all exceptions for cookies, images, pop-up windows, software installation, passwords, and other website specific data.
Clearing cookies will remove all specified (selected) cookies including cookies with an allow exception that you would like to keep.
Make sure that you do not run Firefox in permanent Private Browsing mode (Never remember history).
- Tools > Options > Privacy > Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history"
- Deselect: [ ] "Always use Private Browsing mode"
